Low Flow Air Sampler is an easy-to-carry around sampler for determining the concentration of toxins in ambient and workplace environments.

We offer Low Flow Air Samplers that are compact and light weight, and are designed for determination of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and toxic pollutants.
The samplers employ Adsorption tube sampling as the methodology for sampling the air for VOC and other toxic pollutants.
A suction pump enables the sampled air to be drawn through an adsorption tube which is packed with adsorbent specific to the pollutant of interest. In the process, the pollutant gets entrapped in the adsorbent. The collected sample is subsequently analyzed in the laboratory to determine the concentration of specific pollutants.

Physical Design Highlights :
A sampling train, a suction pump, a flow measuring device, a flow controller and an electronic assembly comprise a Low Flow Air Sampler. The adsorbent tube(s) are placed in the sampling train.
The special sampling pump provides very low flow. A specially designed glass tube rotameter to provide high accuracy at low range is employed for measuring flow.
PEM–LFAS2 employs a single adsorbent tube and correspondingly a single flow measuring device and a single flow control device. PEM–LFAS3 employs two adsorption tubes with two independent flow measuring devices and two independent flow control devices.
