Physical Design Highlights
PSI-TTM 1 and PSI-TTM 2 are compact hand held microprocessor based instruments. It interfaces with various standard types of thermocouples through a 3-pin connector. It includes a built-in solid state sensor for measurement of ambient temperature for providing cold junction compensation (CJC). CJC is applied automatically by the embedded software. The embedded software employs various appropriate polynomial fits for computation of temperature thus providing high degree of accuracy over wide temperature. The user interface comprises a keypad and LCD display. All the electronics is housed in an elegant and sturdy plastic cabinet.
